It has two leather loops and a strap and buckle which would hold a sword scabbard. It is suspended from a strap and buckle at its top. The leather is stamped "Cole Bros. 1916" and "5" and "1941"The leather is still flexibleThere are some marks on the leather and there is some rust on the buckles.
